Is a guy having a yellow car so bad?

So I have been wanting a yellow car for ages, I don't know why but I really like yellow cars.

For months my mates have been winding me up about it and then last night we went out to town for a few drinks and every bar we went in they went round asking girls what they would think of me (pointing at me) if I had a yellow car.

They pretty much all said I must be gay :/

Is having a yellow car going to be that bad and I should forget it or is it ok? :confused:
 
As fox says really...I felt like a right fag driving around in my mothers yellow mini when I sold my ST. Don't think it was just the color though :p

American muscle and German sports cars look great in yellow!
 
It does largely depend on the car.

Although, when i was looking at Leon Cupra's i started out wanting the yellow but after seeing a few and really thinking about it, i realised yellow really wasnt for me :p

Yellow really does suit some cars better than others. For example when looking at Octavia VRS's the yellow is just hideous!

I think they all look nice, but if I'm gonna look so much of a *** driving round in one I'll change my mind!

You see there, i think the DS3 and the Corsa look rubbish.

The Ibiza is ok. The only one that pulls it off in my opinion is the Clio.

Yellow really is a funny colour with cars.

It does mainly depend on what kind of yellow. The two Cupra's i saw, the yellow was starting to fade and look a bit washed out so it looked really bad ( like the Corsa pictured). The yellow Renault use seems to be the best because it always looks rich and golden.
 
I think if it is a super/hyper car you can almost get away with any colour. They are supposed to be loud and proud
 
Back in the day my old mate Adam had a Mk1 Escort he made look like a Mexico & then sprayed it Daytona Yellow, Car looked awesome. I agree with others though it does depend on the motor.
