Hi
What do you use for getting the ingrained brake dust off alloys?

I have wonder wheels, but it doesn't get the ingrained dust out, I have tried to polish it out, but it just doesn't do it.

so what do you suggest?

cheers

I use Auto Glym alloy wheel cleaner and the firm brake dust remover brush from Halfords. It works a treat but you do have to be liberal with the cleaner and leave for a minute or two for it to work well.

meguiars hot rims and a wheel brush from halfords.
then after cleaning, use autoglym wheel sealant as it makes cleaning the next time much easier.

Bilberry wheel cleaner, neat solution, iron-x, and tardis should remove pretty much everything, well it has for me anyways. Clay the wheels afterwards, polish, wax or seal, and dirt afterwards should just wipe right off the wheels the next time.

It's odd though, as I've always found wonder wheels to be very aggressive so should have shifted it, as rippling has said is it not corrosion?
