Ghost Recon Future Soldier - very low fps

Guys, I have a problem playing that game.

I play at 2560x1440, have GTX580, 4GB RAM, i5 2500K at 4GHz and during gameplay I'm getting 18fps...
Settings are set on all high, tessellation on low, no AA, no vsync.
Is this game so power hungry or should I lower more settings?

its a real buggy release, iv only been able to play it since a wonder patch last Monday but its still a long way from perfect, id blame the game mate not anything else tbh.

edit: pre-patch was unplayable due to mouse lag and crashes, I just run it on minimum and play online which is a shame but the gameplay is decent imo.

Right... I noticed that there were another two updates for thsi game - 1.3 and 1.4
So I updated game to latest 1.4 and now getting 35-40fps... but... random crashes didn't stop.
After few minutes of playing game drops down to task bar, I can still hear the sounds but cannot get game window back up

What could cause that?

Just lower your res tbh, no wonder it runs so badly considering the state it was released in?

Unfortunately the only thing wrong is you paid for one of the worst games released in quite some time. It may or may not get the work it so badly needs to make qualify as just a bad game. No doubt players will have given up on it before then.

Hardly the end users fault is it? its a decent game just too many bugs and issues. I've never been more annoyed for buying a game day 1 then with future solider but I don't blame myself for it.

Future Soldier is far from a bad game, it handles well, feels fluent and is considerably more tactical than most games that come out, not to mention its absolutely stunning. Is it the new trend to hate it now? :confused:

As for optimization it has most games there, aswell. If my crappy rig can run it maxed out at 1080p in the 40fps range then your probably doing something wrong, considering your rig is a good 50% better than mine.

The console buttons on the HUD is hillarious, though.
