The problem with Ebay/Paypal is that they're a law unto themselves. There's no independant body or regulator.
I find it a bit stupid that they automatically side with the buyer in most cases because without the sellers, there are no buyers and no fees to collect.
What really needs to happen is a big company, for instance Google, to come along and start up a competitor site, undercutting ebay/paypal & offer proper support to both sellers and buyer.
If that happened ebay would be dead in the water.
Unless Google could really beef up its support staff it would be a huge flop. Have you seen their YouTube help centre, it's dire, and that's one of the biggest sites in the world.
I was contemplating splitting my PC and listing on ebay but it seems there is far to many issues like this going on!
I have just sold a spare CPU which sold on a BIN in about 10 minutes! Seems the buyer is addicted to CPUs: http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&ftab=AllFeedback&userid=mm_wilson
What I don't understand is how his feedback is 1078 but in the last 12 months he has had 1767 positive feedback! May just be my lack of ebay knowledge though?
I noticed in one of the feedback comments he is a scammer due to chargeback if you don't send recorded.
