100k a week is still a lot. If he does come, that means Kagawa and Kaka will be rotated... or Kagawa pushed to the wings and Kaka playing in the hole.

Lets wait and see what SSN have to say about it. Probably just talk about how someone on twitter reported it. They have been doing that a lot recently with news.

EDIT: Their source is from the daily mail... and the daily mails source is probably from twitter. lol.

I don't know what on earth we'd do with him. How many attacking players does one team need? We're massively short at the back and have one kind of defensive midfielder who nobody know when he'll be back and if he'll ever be as good as he was.

I'd take Kaka on loan anyway, can't moan about us being weak in centre mid then say I'd rather not have Kaka in our squad if he's available for loan.

He was spoken about yesterday a bit, he sounds good. It sounds like he's going to be called up to the national team and may end up being good enough to replace Evra, but he'll be cover at first. He seems fairly highly rated and likes to attack.

He is 5'9 and has 10 goals in 107 apps. Seems like the sort of wing back Fergie likes. He can also play as a RB I read.

At 23 years old, you'd expect him to start playing a big part in the team right away. Right?
 
Don't know a thing about him. Think it's the right move going for a younger prospect though, if we'd spent a load of money on a LB then we might as well have sold Evra at the same time and leave us just as short for cover as we already were.

Well, that depends on how he performs and Evra's fitness.
 
Southampton were on the brink of signing Buttner this summer but I understand a 3rd party wanted a big payment for the deal going through, so Southampton pulled the plug?

It's possible but from what we saw of him I thought he played pretty well, at one point he was playing over Rafael at right back wasn't he? He's had injury problems of course.

Did either of you see any of the QPR game, Fabio was at massive fault for half of what happened, and from what I could tell they FAbio was so bad Park was pushed to left back at some point to try and limit Fabio's damage.

He was shocking, mistake prone, not particularly good going forward, which is pretty much how I see Rafael. Rafael has a bit of a temper, when he's beaten he's prone to making stupid tackles, mouths off at the ref constantly. Okay, its a bit easy to assume Fabio will be a mouthy little pratt who likes to foul as well based purely on looking the same, but why not, I'll go with it.

Doubt Fabio will be back in any first team capacity for Utd, and Rafael, wouldn't be surprised if you moved on in a year or two if you can get rid of him.

What's that got to do with anything? They could be lovers and it still wouldn't be up to either manager how much Kaka got offered for. Other than saying he doesn't want or need kaka anymore I doubt he has any influence on how the money men at Madrid balance that out.

I'd be amazed if them not hating each other means Jose says "I like fergie let's go 50/50" :D
