I'm not. Even when I was spending hours a day playing TF2 and nearly failing my degree, I still had no interest in competitive play. It was always about the fun.

Personal preference, but I much preferred playing public games on regular servers. Over half my online time was probably played on the Hampshire Heavies servers. You get to know people you play with, but without the strict regulations around when you can play.
