I will be happy if my gfx card arrives tomorrow.

My last order from OcUK really couldn't have gone much worse tbh :S
I ordered 2 new monitors and 2 cables for my PC. They were meant to arrive the next day (a Friday). At 1pm the cables were delivered from 1 van, he had no knowledge of another parcel. I phoned DPD and apparently the monitors were on another van due to arrive at my place at 3-4pm.
At 4:20 I phoned them, wondering where my parcel was and its estimated due time. The guy told me the van had broken down and they didn't know what would happen so to call back later. I tracked my order on their website and it said failed to deliver.
I called them again at about 5:30 wondering if they knew what was going on and they weren't going to continue delivering that load today and would redeliver on the Monday. I really couldn't understand why they didn't have spare vans available to continue the deliveries.
I instead drove to their depot and picked up my parcels myself, a 90 minute round trip. Awesome...
I understand things happen but there was zero contact between DPD and their customers about the problems and the only reason I knew about it was because I phoned up multiple times. I work in transport and logistics and to this day I don't understand how or why a large company like that doesn't have spare vans available if this were to happen.
Rant over.
