You should see some of the people getting the 1.6/2.0 TDI s-lines on the a1 forum. Think some are getting it just for the free/£20 tax. In fact I was reading that one got the 2.0 TDI just to do about 4000 miles a year in.

Register yourself as living in Luxembourg.

You can then claim the duty & VAT back from the fuel... ends up costing ~50p/litre.

+ luxembourg taxes are quite low in general.
