My CPUTIN is up at 94 degrees when im gaming. The minimum temp is 36 but my CPU cores are in the mid 40s. Should I be worried about this as my comuter jitters when under load or even when playing music?

Id be tempted to say its a bogus reading as i would have thought it would shut down way before it hit temps that high, but something is wrong if an i7 and 16gb @1866 jitters while playing music.

i forgot to say that i think cputin is the temp for the upper surface of the cpu, maybe you could try some fresh thermal paste and re-seat your cooler, as long as your core temps are ok and youre not getting bsod all the time i dont think you have a major problem, give it a whirl, gotta worth a try for the sake of a few quid

Thansk for the suggestion but I have already re-pasted the cooler and I clean it out once ever 2 months :P

Here is the temp in idle

Here is the temp under load while playing pCARS for 15 mins

run prime95 for 20 mins on bleend and keep an eye on temps and if it jitters
your core temps are fine, dont know what cputin is for though

edit.
seems to be a comon problem.
"That means that HW Monitor is looking for a sensor where there isn't one, for some reason it has CPUTIN sensor mapped to the wrong location for your motherboard and since its not getting any data at all its reading as its max possible value (128 C)

Check your temps with some other programs, and check in BIOS to see what it says, you may have a faulty CPU temperature probe"

just use realtemp and/or coretemp

Just Ran prime95 for about 25 mins and did not really notice any jittering although the temps were hitting about 53 degrees.

Shortly after that test I ran BF 3 and found that the jitter occured again.
Watch this video and got to 0:45 and you will see what also happened to my computer (this is not my video) BUT my computer only did this for 3 seconds MAX and also made a almost robotic sound at the same time? :S:confused:

I have put the link in now. Sorry and thanks for all the help so far.
What drivers are you suggesting that would be doing this?

this^ have u the latest driver installed?
download unigine heaven dx 11 basic edition and run it, this will test your gpu for u, see if it still jitters in this

I have the lastest video drivers. I have had this issue for about 1 year or so, it comes and goes and if I tell people about they look at me like as if Im crazy. Also the HDD are in good health as well, new memory about 2 months ago so I can only conclude that it may be something to do with the CPU/motherboard as that is where the sound must come from and also it happens when it is proceesing something.

It does this when firefox or chrom is opened.
It acts up when music is being played.
It does it in every game BAR Minecraft.

i would do a clean reinstall of windows, check mobo makers site for any new mobo drivers.
it does sound like a buggy driver to me
