I actually created it on the first morning, but the bug hit before I invited anyone else, now it's created and there's nobody in it :(

I can't create even a guild with a random name now, I think at some level the game knows I'm still in a guild. Logged a ticket, but god knows when they'll get around to looking at it.

Can you not stand down even tho you not in it may still give you that option, we can't do anymore research because of a bug, we done one 15 hour one but now cant add to it :(

Which server you guys on?
 
Never mind, should have read above posts lol.

So...still not sure which race and profession to go for, but I think it will be most likely Sylvari or Asura, and I might try a ranged character this time as I have played mostly melee in MMOs.
 
Could someone help me on a small niggle I have.

I am playing ranger atm and am struggling to understand the point in using the long bow. The tool both say that they have 1200 range and the short bow seems to be doing more damage, so why use the long bow?

Also you could just play thief with short bow and then gain all the mobility perks?

Long bow does more damage if your further away from the target, short does more if your closer. I guess you could hot swap between the two, start with long and swap to short as the target moves to you.
 
Yay mine was shipped today by Amazon but the yay is tempered by the fact it's Sunday, a bank holiday tomorrow and with no early access I have to wait until launch day no matter when I get it :(
 
Very worried that the skills are going to become VERY boring... Even the guardian which I am loving playing atm, level 10 and I am still using the same skills...
 
I don't understand the issue with only having a few skills. It helps the balance in pvp and there is more to the game than the amount of skills when it comes to levelling.
