Smokers are a social class of people, and race is a purely social construct so you can be racist against smokers.

You know, somebody desperately trying to give up smoking just because society tells them it's evil is not much different from that poor black kid 40 years ago sitting in a bath tub trying to scrub his skin white with bleach.

I had just asusmed they were people who smoked regardless of what race they are

Do you think einstein would really have been a smoker if he knew the damages it did?

100% agree with Asim on this one.
I and friends/work colleagues have used the 'racist against x' figure of speech for decades sometimes making a word up to go along with it eg fattist, footballist, don'tlikechips&gravyist and so on.

Black and white are socially constructed labels just like smoker and non-smoker. Anyway you can be racist against people of your own race. Happens all the time.

A scottish white person could be racist against an english white person. Even if they were both immigrants from Poland and both smokers. Now if one of them was gay it gets more complicated.
 
What if you have no race or distinguishing factors?

Hate-ists? I guess hatists would be discrimination against hat wearers.
