Guild Wars 2

I've been duped into buying every major MMO release over the last 3/4 years. I think I've got a problem. :( Holding back on GW2. Maybe someday... :p

Sounds like your a sucker for the hype XD

I would grab GW2 online for cheap if I was you though, it's good enough to warrant a try.

You need to go to other starter areas. Just head back to your main city and take the massive purple teleporter to Kings Arch, then jump in one of the other areas. You can go to level 1 stuff at level 10 in the new areas and get good experience.

I had the same problem in the sylvari area, hit about level 12 and everything was level 14. Then I went to the Human City, then the Asura and now I can barely keep up with doing everything. Currently level 25 and I'm still in the 1 - 15 zone :p

Hi mate, where is this Kings arch? Went through some purple teleport in the Norn area... But can't see the Kings Arch you speak of.

I really am. Last one I bought was RIFT. I played it for a couple of hours and never touched it again. Possibly the worst £30 I have ever spent!

the only way i remember of how to get there is going to pvp tab going to the heart of the mists and taking the portal from there.

Same, tried them all apart from tera :/
Took the plunge with this one as well but its not so bad seeing as it has no sub fee and honestly this is the only game other than wow i would pay subscription for.

rift is amazing once you get into it, I'm definitely going back to it once the expansion comes out.

As said before, work on the starter areas for all the races, get the vistas, the poi's and the skill challenges.. it soon adds up..
But that's not intentional is it? I noticed this in the beta and they still didn't fix it, there's simply not enough content to level with a good flow and I always find myself 2 levels behind of a lot of stuff, basically forcing you to grind an event.

same spengos, was in the human area and there was a swamp, had to kill portals and monsters would come out, reminded me of rift a lot, it has things similar to rift.

Tera was actually amazing though and the combat was really refreshing, though when you got the later levels and the korean girind hit hard. if they sorted that out id still be playing

Actually reminds me a lot of Warhammer, except good :p

The events are basically public quests that branch. I liked the scoring and loot system in Warhammer a lot more though, I know it was a bit broken, but the scoreboard at the end and loot bags were better than karma points.

Do some crafting.

And yes, going to other racial areas is intentional. Just go via Lions Arch, very easy to get around.
