Intel 15 2500k MB

I'm running the Gigabyte Z77 board above, can't find too much to fault with it at the moment.

Well, the only gripe I've got is the number of fan headers but it's hardly the end of the world.
 
I think that board has some reduced options when overclocking, for the extra few ££ the D3H is worth it. On special until Wednesday morning :)

Use the ocuk free delivery service if you dunno how check your account profile on the main site, and tick link forum account. Then the mb is just £79 or whatever it is atm. Probs best budget board atm.

Also as you did a quick post before me, depends what you want, sandy is a higher clocker than ivy but ivy doesnt need to oc as much to get the same performance i.e 4.4 ivy is 4.6 sandy, see. Also the ivy has a better onboard gpu if u so wanted to use it. All comes down to are you going to overclock and by how much.

I would go with Ivy Bridge, slightly faster for only a few pounds more, also with IB you can utilise PCI-E 3 if you have a PCI-E 3 GPU*. :)

*Even though performance is pretty much the same :p
