Guild Wars 2

Another question regarding elementalists it may be the same for necros and mesmers I'm not sure. Is there any way to get more spells added to my spellbar. Surely there can't be a limit or 7/9 or whatever it is (can't remember off the top of my head). Also will they be adding macros?

You're first 5 abilities as an Elementalist are decided by your weapon set + your attunement, you can swap your attunement at any time but not weapons.

So you actually have access to 20 available skills + your 6th which is always a heal, 7-9 utility are utility skills and 10 is an elite. So during combat you have access to a maximum 25 skills.

The attunement switching is unique to Eles, other classes get the ability to switch between 2 weapon sets during combat giving them access to 15 skills + their class mechanic.

Must be absolutely hectic working for their customer support right now... :D

As for macros, I really don't see any need for them in this game, that's another level of laziness.

Hopefully they'll sort things out soon, my Cyborg Rat 7 MMO arrived today. I have all the buttons set up, and I can see it taking a while to get used to it. :P

So far this game really doesn't have a 'massive' or 'epic' feel for me... not even as massive or captivating of the imagination as TERA. I am really surprised and sort of disappointed by this :( . They have clearly taken a lot of time to create a massive, intricate gameworld... but the gameplay elements itself are completely self-defeating. Zipping around everywhere with the Teleport tool, constantly sharded off to Overflows and separated from other zones by loading screens... I feel like I'm basically in a CORPG sandbox, just like in GW1. It hasn't really stepped up to the 'Massive' genre at all, in my opinion.

Tera is fairly massive and has a nice world I agree with some of that but this world is just as lush and I'm sure the sharding is the only thing in the way and that will be fixed.

Have you tried using this in PvP? I'm thinking of giving this kind of build a try, but can't decide.. and also looking at the builders, I can't decide how to make it anyway! :p

Haven't tried any PvP yet however it should (technically) work, give it a go and report back.

The fact that yet again it's EU customers only being affected it starting to annoy me a lot, with most MMOs I've played the EU customers get shafted looks like this is going to be the situation again with GW2.

Thought I'd seen the last of it with GOA on DAOC. Not a good start, let's hope it improves.

I've just been silly. I thought I may be able to get in if I transferred my home server to a low pop one for a bit and then transferred back to desolation later. Little did I know that it made no difference to my chances of getting in and now desolation is full so I can't transfer back :/.

Oh, the fail. :p :o

What's your build so far? I can't decide on certain traits, so it would be good to see how other people have gone - See if I'm thinking along the right lines.

I best not mention I've been logged in all day jumping from alt to alt with nps :p

I hate the fact I cannot settle on a main class ! I played the thief mostly in beta but that just seems like the FOTM atm so went with Necro, then went with Ranger and now Mesmer. The best thing is about the game so far is being able to PvP with any class from level 1 which helps you get a feel for how it plays before committing to it.
