Mornington Crescent

True, but only in the afternoon on a Friday can you do that move, otherwise it's Kensington Olympia, which kinda leads onto a loop of sorts...

But if you say Leicester Square, it's gotta be Camden Town !! Whooosh!

Tosh!

Under revision 5(iii) 1995 rules from Bradbury Vs McCullum, you will see it is not possible to Call MC from Camden Town!

Beginner!

I therefore enduce Moebius (where time becomes a loop) and take us straight back to Bank!

The Moebius move then? That's ok, because I can enforce the Religious Sightseeing rule outlined in chapter 12, from the 4th Edition of Lear's Guide to Playing Mornington Crescent, 1950. This states that use of this rule can escape all loops, as long as five religious structures can be visited in the next 10 turns. If we fail, then we end up at Kings Cross, irrespective of any more time-based loops that may be invoked. To start us off, I use one turn, and travel to St. Pauls, moving up onto street level to view the Cathedral.

It's tempting to create an account called satnav just to point out Montague's Second Stationary Ruling. (But that would be naughty!)

Do we just say tube station names?

Too bad the "Mornington Crescent for Beginners" thread was lost. It was going well, but then somebody unexpectedly played Llanfairpwllgwyngyll-gogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysilio-gogogoch (it's on the North Wales Coastal line, of course) and it took the whole server down. The admins got the forums going again but the thread was corrupt beyond repair. That station is now banned from competitive play on OCUK. You are allowed to mention it (as above) but actually playing it will get you permabanned for "dangerous play" :(

I Play Llanfairpwllgwyngyll-gogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysilio-gogogoch.

ooooh

overrule that with home advantage under the Newcastle Under Lyme Mornington crescent society guidelines section 4 subsection A advisement of

Congleton

or alternatively if we're not adhering to server host locality i'll stick to the Glaswegian rule book and motion for a Merkland St bypassing of paly on grounds of unsporting behaviour/procurement of special brew which brings us a reversal to Partick

BAM!

Cat thread boy in not understanding humour shocker *gasp*

Paddington to MC? Not since the Aldwych branch was closed - couldn't decide on the decoration scheme you see, tragic it was...
(see Branch Colouring rule, Oxford reprint 1948)

Olympic weighting brings Limehouse into play, (my apologies if anyone was quietly hoping the Anastasia gambit was still viable)
