Hi guys,

I just want to say how impressed I was with Samsung and their RMA process.

24" monitor screen went dark after a few seconds of usage (after almost three years, one month off actually), so emailed support on Tuesday last week and got the monitor picked up last Friday. Got the screen back today and it looks like a completely new screen in the original housing.

Excellent support 100% recommend :)

Superb, great result.

This is something I'd like to see more of, praise where it is deserved. More often than not people only write about bad experiences.

This is strengthening the argument for me to buy a S23A700D :)

what's their contact number? one of the touch buttons on my sa700 hasn't been working for weeks so you've given me encouragement to do something about it. :D

my Samsung 24" T240 just died with screen comes on for 1sec with some buzzing then shuts off... was that the same model as yours? Guess i'll try samsung support too. (edit: 1st July 2009 purchased d'oh just over 3 yrs old)

Nothing but, praise for Samsung's RMA, my 24" died about three weeks outside it's three year warranty.
Contacted Samsung they collected the monitor, & they replaced it with out any hassle.

I had a 22" Samsung monitor for about 3 years, for whatever reason the internal power went. Had a swap out replacement at my door within a few days, it was excellent service. Would recommend on that alone.

Just spoken to Samsung, bought my monitor from here 1st July 2009 so a couple of months over the 3 year warranty... and they are going to do a swap out replacement!

Awesome definitely going to be buying Samsung again. ps I tried contacting Samsung via there website first and they just gave me details on how to get an out of warranty repair at my cost, worth phoning them.

I just emailed there support via the website mate

I ended up giving them a call - found their number on the website. They said 7-10 days and I've not heard or had any confirmation emails or calls from them since.

I just want my monitor back badly - gaming on a 60hz, 768p Plasma TV is terrible. I'm loosing every match in BF3 and it's unplayable. :(

God knows how people play on TV's and 60hz :p I was wanted one of those 1440p monitors too but since they are 60hz I don't think I'll bother. :D

its not going to be the 60Hz thats killing you in FPS's its going to be the input lag a plasma tv has over a gaming monitor.
