Finally released from insurance purgatory things were looking up for Dale's RX-8 ... and then...

Flat out up Ex-Muhle, I knew something was wrong. Something didn’t sound quite right. The response from the twin-rotor Wankel just wasn’t snappy enough. After a brilliant day of blatting around the Eifel with my liberated-from-the-insurance-compound RX-8, fitting my new rims and awesome Michelin Supersport tyres, this was to be the first lap of the ’ring in the Rex since May. But it would be the last for this car.

It makes sense if you buy an already broken one if you have the ability to fix it yourself, as you end up with a car for potentially 2k ish which is modern, fun to drive and with 50k of abuse left to give in the engine.

Otherwise.... no thanks....

If I wanted a car like that I would either get a s2000 or a 350z.

The RX8 is cheap to buy.

It's more practical than the other options mentioned earlier. In terms of boot space and that it's a 4 seater.

the "+" indicates that the extra 2 seats are usually occasional seats. Bit of a gay terminology though imo.
