Haha what a girl! I wonder what battery life is like? The only reason why I'd stick with WP is because of the multitasking... one of many things that annoys me at the moment!
 
No idea what windows phones are like with regards to optimization for battery life, I imagine it should be pretty damn good though and better than android?

But in theory the S4 dual core krait (best CPU there is for power efficiency currently) combined with the 2300mAh battery, we should see awesome battery life, probably the best there is (excluding the RZR max). The GS 3 quad with the 2100mAh gets great battery life about 4 hours on screen time spread throughout a day or 2 of usage iirc. As said above though it will largely come down to how well windows 8/drivers are optimized for the S4 chip.

Also the screen on the GS 3 isn't as big of a battery drainer as what some people might think, seems to be pretty good regarding power efficiency given the size and res.

This does look really nice, they seem to have an entirely seperate design division for Windows Phone devices as the Omnia 7 wasn't really anything like the original Galaxy phones either.

Fair warning though, you'd be a fool to go for this without seeing what Nokia are going to release... they can usually one-up Samsung when it comes to design, and quite possibly the camera, too.

Visual design, perhaps. But plastic + unibody = dents everywhere. I'm not the most careful person in the world with my tech but the polycarbonate isn't the most grippy surface in the world, and I never really saw any problems on previous phones. Being unibody means there's very little give on anything which makes it look very bashed up very quickly.
 
It does look nice, if it came in anodizes colors even better.

Why can't they have a range of phones. 2 sizes would be enough ~4" and that one.

I hope Nokia deliver especially tablet. It's looking more and. More likely that there won't be a tablet I want, I'll have to get one. What's so hard about a 11.6" screen at 1900x1200 minimu, I would even settle for a 10" with that resolution.
1366 is minimum we need, not a number to aim for. The display on the new iPad is so nice.

The asus both rt and atom version both are 1366 :(

OMG if only the S3 looked like this, imagine how much more it would sell, something is messed up at samsung, screw a nature design just give this sexy beast some Android loving.

If I do get a wp I think it will be between this and what Nokia brings to the table (Phi?).

Is there a generic Windows 8 Tablet thread about anywhere? You seem very clued up on them Glaucus. I want to pick your brains as to what I should get :)

Back to this phone, phwooar. Looks epic. I expect the reason the Windows phone looks like this and the Android doesn't is that they are going for the Business market with this phone, which used to be dominated by the metal cased Nokia's and things, whereas the Android phone is aiming at the iPhone market of kids who want funky white and black gloss plastic*.

*what Samsung thinks people want may not relate to what people actually want. It certainly doesn't for me.

Not yet,they're all pretty much the same and with low res screens. well I dont class 1366x768 as high res, but they all do :(
The only real difference I've seen so far is the Asus RT has opted for terra 3 quad rather than dual.

I so hope someone comes out with something better, I've been very disappointed with the specs so far, well just the screens really.

I'll possibly make a thread in a bit.

The Galaxy Tab looks nice, however if it had 1080p, s4 pro it would be perfect, this is the kinda of spec I'm waiting for.
