Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch date trailer also )

already have this on pre-order, thinking of changing the order from 360 to ps3 though, playing through the original on PS+ reminded me how good the original was

Out of interest, as I never played the original, what was the longevity like for Borderlands 1?

How quick do you level, how big is the world etc.

iirc i got months out of BL1, even played through the DLC. The world is pretty large, but you have transport that helps speed up getting from area to area, the levelling ramps up gradualy and going off my achievements it took me about three and a half months to get to level 61.

pretty sure that if you joined a party that were on the final boss, you were able to level up quicker, iirc i did that a fair bit to get one of the achievements, so it would have taken far longer to grind it.

Sounds awesome!

I've just read a few articles that mention a couple of people just ran through the campaign together and it took them 58hours for 1 character :o
 
I went through the campaign 2 or 3 times with Lilith - you can re-do the story with your saved character at higher levels and the enemies level scale with you. Lilith becomes so OP later on I had such fun with her and never got bored with the game. I still play it from time to time and hmm I may go through it again in readiness for 2!

Also, the DLC is quality so if you fancy picking it up go for the GOTY edition.

In my top 5 games this gen.

Exactly the same for me! The turret with the rocket upgrade looks insane! I've heard you can get 2 of them with a certain build and apply them to ceilings / walls :cool:
