Hi all,
This week is my birthday (hoorah!) and my pet insurer is due to send me back £400 out of a claim. I want to spend it on something for my system, but I don't know what to spend it on.

My sig has most of the major parts listed, and I also have 4x1TB Samsung F3s, a 64GB Crucial 300 series SSD and a 60gb Vertex 2E SSD. For mouse I have a Logitech G5 and keyboard is a G510.
Sounds are courtesy of a pair of Razor Charicas headphones.

Which part do I throw the money at, and why?

I was pondering a larger monitor actually, as I think the 680 could manage 2560 resolutions without too much hassle? I'm afraid multi monitor is out of the question as I share a desk with my girlfriend. :(

As stulid said there is nothing that really needs to be upgraded. Only thing I can think of is a sound card to go with the headset.

Thanks both, perhaps I shall stick it away for a rainy day then. I just miss that 'new box being delivered by the courier and the smell of anti-static bag' feeling, you know? :)
I would have doubled up on the 680s for SLi if the GOOD edition hadn't completely replaced Gainward's standard model. Boo, overclockers, boo!

Incidently, what settings are you using for the 4.5 OC.

I'm running this:

Unfortunately my desk is only 5' wide, and my 24" takes around 22 of that horizontally. Any off-set for another 2 monitors would lead to my girlfriend ending up off the desk! (and don't think I haven't seen the result of THAT before <shudders>)
Maybe in a few months time LG will start dishing out some of those 30" 2560x1440 panels they have been showing off to manufacturers. :)

You know that vid is of a landscape and not portrait setup.

The centre screen is landscape, the other two are vertical ;) I expect this makes sense as you can just use a single screen (landscape) some of the time to save on the bills.

You can of course run all three screens vertically (you can find plenty of vids on youtube), it depends how much room he has on the desk.

If it's worth the money is another question all together. To be honest I can't really see anywhere else to spend money other than on the monitor (or monitors), no matter what anyone suggests it could well be argued as unnecessary expense.
