I have always wanted a room with nothing but film busts and stuff in it. is this weird and does anyone have anything similar?

looking around its £300-£3k for lifelike, life size busts :(
 
When you say film busts, do you mean busts of film stars?

I don't think it's weird, whatever interests you.

Museums would be cheaper in the long run. You can't touch though ;)

Just be sure you can afford it.

I had a dream a while ago of getting vinyls of my ten favourite albums and framing them. I did it, and it cost about £800 overall. I'm happy I did it, but it was a lot of money to spend on something like that.

yeh obvs would take a while to get a decent collection, just something I have always wanted. could probs struggle and get a few of the cheaper ones a year, but the £1k+ ones would take a few years to save for.
 
If you've always wanted to do it, then do it. I'm very happy with the framed vinyls, they add a great personality to the room. I feel it's something that defines me in a personal and very accurate way.

kool will take a look.

you can get like, latex batman masks, the Michael Myers mask, Jason's Hockey mask and all for £30 and below, so they would be a start, just need mannequin/display heads I guess.
 
I'd rather have a classical bust than a bust of some second-rate actor, but whatever floats your boat (or fills your room, rather).
 
I can't remember the thread but over at av forums there was a guy that spent millions on his home cinema. He had busts of all the classic movie monsters.. Alien, Predator, excorist, pin head ect. It was pretty cool.

Once you buy one, I'd imagine you would just keep buying. Its an expensive hobby. I wouldn't bother unless you had spare money.
