Oculus Rift whos getting one?

depending on price, and compatibility with games, I would love one. Will wait and see, although the press releases and trailers are promising, as was PCGamers preview interview with it.
 
I would have got a prototype but im useless at putting stuff together. Seen as how their KS campaign was so successful and the kind of big name backing they have, once its available to preorder im buying it no matter what the price. This is the first step down the rabbit hole :D
 
Dont trust all this. People could burgle your house while your gaming. I'll stick with the monitor.

I'm sure I'll manage a few paragraphs, not sure what I can do on the video front though. Unboxing videos and reviews of packaging are a pet hate of mine and a video of my face wearing goggles probably won't be very informative and if it's entertaining it will be for the wrong reasons.
 
Haha no worries, im sure there will be plenty of unboxing vids plus vids of people putting it together from the US before we see them here in blighty! They sold 5.5k of the dev kits - any word on when youll get yours?
 
I can play a new Halo game with one of these. Its hard to imagine Microsoft releasing a new Xbox without this idea
 
I was thinking it would be great for some driving games, then I realised I wouldn't actually be able to glance down at my steering wheel/buttons. Same can be said for my keyboard and mouse, that's a big problem is my eyes. (No pun intended!)
 
Will it interface with one of these?

I was thinking about it. Then I decided to wait for the retail version, with better resolution and maybe better field of vision.
