Hi guys, I have £300 to spend on a base unit.

Parts I currently have are:

I need:
  • Case
  • Mobo
  • Ram
  • CPU
  • Optical drive (old PC has IDE optical drive)

My use is gaming, 100% gaming, I appreciate they have other uses, but a gaming PC will cover any other use I may have for it. CPU is my current bottleneck (Athlon 64 dual core, GW2 runs like a slideshow in World vs World at times)
If it's possible, I'd like the option of adding another 6850 in crossfire at a later date. But don't bust a gut, if it means comprimising performance now too much.

As always, your kind expertise is appreciated, I could look myself, but I would be essentially wasting my time as I'd need to research what's currently what first.

I'm going from this Nasty-ass Dell PC so really looking forward to something I can manage cables in lol

Can you stretch to £350 - £400?
That way you get an Ivy bridge processor combined with a Z77 motherboard.

That's looking Good Bacon, I actually think the Optical from my old PC may be SATA thinking about it, so that makes it only £20 over budget factoring in the free shipping too.
Will place the order tomorrow, thanks for your help
