Motorola release first new phones since Google takeover

Razr HD

Motorola has just announced the Droid RAZR HD, updating its old flagship with a larger 4.7-inch screen, HD display, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The RAZR HD comes with a 2,500mAh battery

Droid Razr Maxx HD

Motorola has just announced the Droid RAZR Maxx HD, promising it will have the longest battery life of any Android smartphone. It'll have the same internals and 4.7-inch HD display as the just-announced RAZR HD, but with a far larger 3300mAh battery. Despite the larger battery, the RAZR Maxx HD is still only 9.3mm thick.

Droid Razr M

Motorola has just announced the Droid RAZR M 4G LTE. As CEO Dennis Woodside said earlier, the Droid RAZR M 4G LTE will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by the end of the year, but at launch it'll be running Ice Cream Sandwich with Chrome as the default browser. Naturally, it runs on Verizon's LTE network and includes a relatively high-capacity battery, but its 2,000mAh capacity trails both the Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR HD Maxx.

There aren't a whole lot of details about this phone, but the highlighted features include 8GB of storage space, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, and a 4.3-inch screen

It will be interesting to see where they go with this, if they release a Nexus Version it may be my next phone.

looks epic - 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, LTE, and an 8-megapixel shooter, onboard storage to 32GB.

Other than the battery this phone seems kind of pointless. Unless it gives superb screen times etc I'd rather get something better.

2500/3300 mah battery and 28nm SoC - how can it not give great screen on time?

They're nice looking phones but they aren't really doing anything special. I was expecting some halo devices really.

They are not really out specced by anything though, they match the new Lumia and Galaxy s3 but with an awesome battery. I cant see what tech they are missing?

Yup, smaller than a Lumia 820! (67.9mm wide) Hopefully it's the same gen sAMOLED screen as the SGS3.

All the demo phones are running 4.1.1 btw.

Aslong as the camera is good I'm in - however with it releasing around the time of the Nexus I may get that instead. Atleast I now have the option of a few phones. Bye Bye SIII.

Something innovative, something new. They're just spec bumps for the existing RAZR line.
