Its a bit of a shame it doesn't work with the radio stuff, plenty on there that i'd like to listen to on the way home from work :(

Looking forward to this, although surprised they've only released to iOS first, would have thought they would have picked up more support from android.

It's the BBC... If it doesn't have an Apple logo it isn't worth caring about... It's been that way for a while now, I'm guessing partly because it's media so everyone probably uses Apple equipment as standard (because it's needed yo for the creative juices, or some carp...).

**This is not an anti Apple post, rather an anti stupid people post, aimed at people that live 20 years in the past.

iOS development is easier, cheaper and faster. I've yet to work on a project where the Android client was developed before the iOS client. It just doesn't made sense from a business point of view.

The BBC probably had limited resources and chose to focus on the easy wins.

This makes no sense to me: the iplayer 'app' on my tab2 is still just a link to the mobile iplayer website, only now I need another app to use the website... And this new app doesn't seem to have a high quality option to make programmes actually watchable. And it still doesn't have a download option. Bravo, BBC.

Am I missing something?
