Correct. I believe the only other accessories that it comes with are a couple of molex to 8pin pci-e and the manual etc.
Any kind of power adapter coming with graphics cards should just be binned outright imo.
Even if going for this card the v2 is better value by far. This version has slightly higher clocks, but it won't 'last longer' as such.
Also, that adapter won't allow 120hz if you wanted it for that.

That was my initial thought, however this card does have 300mhz HDMI ports (which do support 120hz)... HDMI and DVI are electrically compatible... so in theory, this adapator might allow 120hz over hdmi to a DVI monitor

Adapter in the op is DP to single link dvi, i think the dual link dvi ones are more pricey?
