Bought 46 es6300
installed allshare on PC and most of the times, TV doesnt see PC..connection over ethernet...
if I restart PC and swithc off and on TV then it will see it for a while.if I leave it for a while it will loose connection...

not sure where problem lies...any other way to stream movies to TV ? I have no problems with wdtv on network...

Totally guessing here but have you checked your power plan settings in the PC, at default don't it shut down HDD's after like 20 minutes of no use, maybe the t.v thinks pc is off?

Another long shot here.
If you launch Allshare and go to the set up wizard it will show you the devices connected along with their IP. See if you can get someone to stay with your TV till the connection is dropped and then look at any errors that the Allshare Apps shows OR the status of your TV it could be that you have not set it to always connect or that your router drops the connection?

Try using either PS3 Media server or TVersity on your computer.

I use PS3 Media server and find it works without a fault with my Samsung Plasma, it has the added bonus of being able to transcode files on the fly your TV wouldnt otherwise be able to play.

PS3 media server is also easy to set up, just install onto your PC, click on the navigation/Share Settings, at the bottom click on the green + sign and browse to your Drives/files of folders with the media on it.

Click on Save at the top and your pretty much set to go, the only other thing I do is go into transcode settings and tick "Definitely disable subtitles".

Your TV should then be able to see PS3 Media server on your computer with all the files you have linked to.

Will try one of these as well.

I was watching something yesterday and it switch off after 30minutes...similar happens when I share via windows media centre....
