Think Samsung Green 30nm is good? 20nm on the way :)

When it came off offer maybe? It's even cheaper now than when I got it on week only offer >_<. £41 now instead of £45.99 which was instead of £59.

i wouldnt hope for too much on the 22nm,they just simply refuse to oc or boot up at certain voltages with the 30nm anyway

Yup it was £77 yesterday. It'll be on today/this week only soon then

i completely went into one in the customer services board about this.

i mean, for anyone who just bought it - result.
anyone who comes along and doesn't know - not a problem.

for anyone waiting on the cash going into the bank, with a basket prepped and ready to go - galling

What volts we talking?

Looking to order some with an order, hence the ask, need stability!

Thanks.

it depends on your mb/cpu/bios support, some simply wont clock higher than 2133mhz-2400mhz no matter how much dram voltage you throw at them, some clock 2600mhz+ with 1.7 dram and upwards, around 1.55v dram for 2133-2400mhz

I'd be happy with the 2133-2400MHz at round 1.5v or thereabouts, if I recall correctly OcUK have a safe voltages guide somewhere!

Thanks mate!

Same boat as you mate :(

It's the "Tesco" marketing strategy. You increase the price for a few weeks, then reduce it again and claim it's a special offer. :p

Hehe. Thing is though this harshly jumped in price a couple of times in just a few days. Down Up Down Up. Maybe it'll be down again tomorrow! Here's hoping.;)

How bizzare. have you never tracked ram prices before?

Somehow i doubt you're impartial, so i'll take your opinion with the proverbial pinch of salt. Others have noticed the MASSIVE difference, so, it ain't just me being 'bizarre' as you so eloquently misspell it. - A man, however, must appreciate your attempt at making me look daft. Nice try though eh.

now as it's been mentioned? doubtful.

Calm down, Sally. I'm talking about complaining to CS because you missed out on a one day price drop. That certainly is bizarre. You have some strange sense of self entitlement there. You missed out on a (great) deal...that's tough luck that is, but that's life and we've probably all done that; I know I have - the 8gb Sammy green pack was down to around £30 at one point - i would have had that rather than the Corsair XMS3 i ended up buying, but meh I wasn't quick enough so I just got on with it. 'No point getting angry about it. Ram has fluctuated in price since the dawn of time, back when we were all buying sdram and long before that as well. It's pretty much the most unstable component you can buy in terms of pricing. This is why i asked you if you've ever taking notice of the pricing before, because nobody in their right mind would complain to CS about it if they missed out on a deal.

I wasn't trying to make you look daft but come to think of it, yeah it is totally daft really. But come on now - correcting my spelling? If you are going to do that, I would look at the grammar of your own post before before trying to correct the spelling of mine.... Stones and glass houses, and all 'that...

Finally, take a look at this:

God damnit, stung again...

I was preparing my list of items to order last night and thought I may as well wait till monday to order things... a day later an the ram has shot up in price. Every bloody time I am prepared to order something the price changes, happened the other day with a 7970 card it went from a discounted price to +£40 over night.

I wouldn't mind so much if the delivery charges were fair but what the minimum charge is like £7.95 for posting 100grams on top of the price rise
SAME

IM NOT BUYING NOW UNTIL ITS £77 AGAIN FOR 16GB

That's the price of the 8gb and 16gb kits going up overnight.....back in April, and look at that - £77 for 16gb? what a coincidence. So you still don't think it will end up there again? Like i said, ram prices fluctuate wildly, and pretty much daily.
