AMD 6950 with GT520 for physx

Hi guys

Never done this before, I have in my machine an AMD 6950 with the newest updated drivers. I want to add the GT520 2gb dx11 DDR3 card just for physx, can anyone point me to an upto date date on this. Will I suffer any performance or game issues running these two cards etc?

'Nobody believed PhysX v9.11.1107+ could be hybridized:

Works with all nVidia Drivers including 306.02+/9.12.0613+ in WinXP/7/8+ (Vista not possible) on 32 OR 64bit games/OS in PC systems containing both RaDeON & GeForce 8000-600+ series cards with 256MB+ VRAM!

1. Install latest drivers from:
http://nvidia.com/object/physx_system_software.html AND
http://geforce.com/Drivers/beta-legacy

2. Run Hybridiz.exe (In WinXP "Connect anyway on VGA" and extend the desktop also.)

3. In each game directory right-click to make a ->"New Folder" to move the cuda* and PhysX* prefix-named folders or .DLL files, the only exception is that some games require their own PhysXCore* DLL ONLY so if the game crashes back to the desktop upon load/start then move that one back. NOTE: Always remove AT LEAST PhysXDevice* and NEVER PhysXExtensions*!
In your .ini file set: bDisablePhysXHardwareSupport=False

Apps Tested So Far: FluidMark 1.4/5, Mafia2, MirrorsEdge

Those Still Requiring just their original PhysXCore.dll: Alice2, Batman2, FluidMark 1.3.1

Test HW:
GPU - 32GP 79GT 3.2TF 167GBps VRAM
PPU - 1.1TF 112GBps VRAM 1094K SRAM 442K registers
(GTX580: 37GP 49GT 1.6TF 192GBps VRAM 1792K SRAM 524K registers)'

Awesome thanks m8, with those tips I have it running and noticed the smoke straight away while joker was being taken into the Asylum on Batman AA. How on earth did AMD miss this trick? Not game breaking by any means but all those little extras make a nice difference imo.

Amd had the chance to buy PhysX but pulled out.

Yes the extras do make a difference, shame it's massively underused though.

a 520 2gb is overkill (unless you already own it and its laying around)
Physx requires hardly any Vram, a standard 420/40 is more than enough

Yeah I pulled it from my son's machine as they are having an upgrade, not worth much to resell so popped it in mine for physx.
