To get back into the spirit of the thread then.....

seeing as it's soon going to start being a bit chilly, a new pair of jeans had to be sought:

Not very often there's something I find in Topshop that fits properly, but these are perfect. Size 10 :)

Picked this up today after paying my customs charge.

Two straps to attach to things and one white full graphic Black Rock Shooter T-Shirt and my copy of Battlefield 3 - Premium which was delivered today by this lovely DPD women, it's always the same girl, has a nice pony tail and is pretty hot, I also had a package for her but it was hidden by the half closed door. ;)

Close up, likely attach them to my Shinai (sword) bag and armour bag.

Nice jeans there Lucy! Chance of seeing you wear them? :P

A carbon fibre tripod/monopod (right) for light carrying when exploring!

Although today I fouled it up big time. I sawed the centre column to make it a short column tripod like my primary tripod (helps get lower to the ground) and then decided I wanted it even shorter...being a man I decided I would not measure how much I needed and just drink tea and 'get on with it'.

I have just purchased a replacement carbon centre column for £18

Lesson learnt :p

Ouch!

Is the Redsnapper ball head still going strong? I haven't picked up my camera in ages or I would have bought one by now.

Mark A,

For want of a better word, it's a tank of a ball head!

My one unfortunately developed a fault where the pan motion has seized and won't turn any more, the support guy at Red Snapper has been very helpful though and assured that in his 6 years of working there has never seen that happen to one of their heads!

They will repair or replace the lot though so it's being sent later today and I should get it back Wednesday. To me the good support and fast turnaround means I am more likely to look to them in the future when I think about upgrading.

You need to stop it with the cheesy one liners. She'll have heard them all a thousand times before if she's even remotely pretty.

Next time you see her, make a mental note of the following things:

Hair colour: As in from root to tip. Does it graduate or is it the same colour all the way through. If it graduates, she'll dye it. That graduation is your benchmark for next time. If she's a natural, just take note of the style. Then you have a way in next time she does something different with it.

Eyes: As in eyeshadow colour. If she's got quite expressive eyes chances are she'll like to play with colour, blending and using quite bold shades. Usually a girl will go with either eyeliner and mascara with neutral eyeshadow or brighter eyeshadow with minimal eyeliner. Take notice of all these things.

Then, next time you see her, notice what's different. Mention it. Girls love anyone noticing anything about their hair and eyes. If she's interested, she'll respond :)

If a Woman requires this much attention to detail in the first place shes not worth it . Lucy, although female, will never give you decent advice in getting with a woman.

A Woman who is worthwhile is one that does not need to be smothered with comments on her hair or eye make up all the time. And certainly doesn't need a compliment to start a conversation with. If she is worth the time of day conversations should already be flowing between you two about things other than herself. If you have to try hard in the first place its never going to work.

If you like her tell her, don't get all sleazy and stalkerish just to get the ball rolling.

Sigh.

Enjoy, i'm a big James Herbert fan, absolutely loved the Rats trilogy.

Great author. I loved the Magic Cottage. Scared the bejeezus out of me. His entire collection (almost) is on iBooks now. I might have to get reading again.

And of course, let's not forget the all time classic, The Fog. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!!!

I think you misunderstand me.

When you're ready come down off your high horse and I'll deal with you later :)
