Very interesting, didn't notice this.

A clear image from The Key of Solomon at the Olympics and a Green Man. Can't think why these would have been included in the closing ceremony. There's obviously some obscure magical link somewhere to these games.

You see Green Men everywhere, carvings and such like all over the UK. I should imagine the symbols are in the ceremony because of the historic ties with the UK rather than some 'magical' conspiracy.

Yes I mean basic geometric patterns and symbols are so unique... it had to have some hidden magical connection. Given that paganism was a part of our history pre-Christianity and then influenced parts of the way we followed the Christian religion in this country its not exactly that surprising to find something incorporated into a one of the Olympic opening or closing ceremonies given that the general theme of them has been to reflect different parts of the UKs history and culture.
