Hi, im looking for a case that will have enough cooling for a overclocked i5-3570K and have enough room for adding a gpu at a later date.

any recommendations?

Must be the smallest i can get away with, and under £100 :)

What form factor is your motherboard? Finding a decent air CPU cooler that doesn't block the PCI-E slot or RAM on an ITX motherboard can be difficult (it was for me anyway, so i gave up :D).... I imagine an oc'd 3570k would get pretty toasty with a low profile cooler!

bitfenix prodigy + h80 (or any other clc cooler) is your answer ;p

Watercooling is a good idea if it's within budget. The Prodigy case is good, but i've seen some factory defects with warped side panels and cracked/crushed plastic tabs where the screws are done up too tightly at the factory (for the legs/handles)... Keep an eye out if buying one of these.

i think the bitfenix is a bit big to be honest from what i have seen of it.

maybe i should forget the overclocking idea.

It's bigger than my HP N40L Microserver (which is not as small as i imagined). Overclocking is handy if you need the extra power, but a 3570k should be fine for just about anything at stock speeds... You could always go for a Micro-ATX system if you decide to go a bit bigger :)

i have a prodigy and i think its a perfect size. any smaller and cable routing is gonna be a pita. also, because its that big (small), you can fit stuff that normally belongs in atx/matx cases into it (like big heatsinks or watercooling)
how small do you need ur rig to be?

Does the 'Prolimatech Samuel 17 CPU Cooler' avoid both the pci-e and ram slots? I find the pci-e slot to be very close to the CPU socket with most ITX boards.
