What FPS do you guys get with single card? Crysis 2 auto sets my GPU to Ultra and it runs ok @60 fps but drops at random time into 30fps
Should this card run Ultra better?

Also where is the option to switch off AA I have seen Benchmarks were they say NoAA, But I cant find the option in game would like to lower this down has I dont like the performance hit MSaa gives.
To keep a solid 60FPS I am having to do a custom mix of Ultra and High you think this is Normal for this game?

I also see they never fixed this Full Screen bug from Crysis 1 1080p locks at 25hz I did fix this tho by setting custom res up 1920x1076@60p

Thanks

I don't think Crysis 2 uses proper AA by default, it uses some sort of post-process edge AA which probably has minimal performance impact. I'm not sure what reviews are talking about when they mention benchmark runs with or without AA, but my assumption is that they're trying to force it via the drivers. I think it's possible to do this, but requires some fiddling about. Personally I would leave it as it is, the settings seem well optimised so long as you have a high end card.

As for the drops to 30fps, is this completely random or during specific circumstances? On my 680, the game runs very smooth (50fps+) for 99% of the time, except under two circumstances. One is when I fire at stuff up close, the smoke and particle effects seem to kill the frame rate, dropping down to 30fps and below for some reason. The second is when entering tunnels or going underground (like the sewers), performance suddenly drops for no apparent reason, which is weird as the tunnels are closed off with very little to see; you expect the fps to go up, not down.

Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options 1.7 Released!

No idea if this works or if there's a better/easier way of doing it.

Only the Fileplanet link works (eventually).

Thanks just downloaded version 1.8. I think this is latest version but it dont have Ultra settings option in there.
Another thing I downloaded was Adrenaline Crysis 2 Benchmark Tool And am getting better performance running this, than the proper game?? lol

The drops happen very random, I understand this game is a very demanding game but it would help if you knew what settings give how much performance drop etc
What settings should be used for Sli/Xfire and what you should use for a single card setup.
When in tunnels or building am at 60FPS solid, its the out door parts that really kill performance.
