The non TI 660 is out in a few days and looks to sit in between 7870 and 7950 performance.
Er, thats where the 660TI sits.
You mean nvidias own benchmarks?
Yes I remember AMD's early benchmarks of the bulldozer beating a 2500k
Seeing as the 7870 is level with the 660TI in most peoples eyse I dont see how the 660 can beat the 7870. Lets wait for unbiased reviews and not nvidias PR material.
Yeah it's about even. Fair bit faster with lesser amounts of AA applied unsurprisingly with its memory. Fair amount below a 7950.
I would imagine the 660 will take on the 7850? I mean that card is completely cleaning up there's literally nothing to compete.
I agree. I would hazard a guess that the 660 will be faster than the 7850 at stock, which will look good to the uneducated masses that go on review scores only. But I would think the 7850 will dominate when both overclocked.
Thats all true if you don't overclock. But as the 7850 can over clock by 40%+ on the core, once all over clocked it will be a different picture. We know a fully over clocked 7850 is close to 7950 performance, which is out of reach for a 660 I'm sure.
Lol at quoting the tweak town benchmarks.![]()
Spenty have you got a proper link to your info please? Hope its not that crap tweak town 660ti preview.
Also here is review from anandtech and even on max setting 1080p the 660ti is beating all the amds at bf3.

Thats nearly 20% faster than the 7950 on battlefield 1080p max settings.
As stated how is that preview crap? If anything the card will be even better than that with the next batch of drivers and voltage control supportYou're just being a troll now.
