7950 vs 660 ti

Most reviews of the 660Ti I can find didn't re-run its competitor cards on latest drivers :).

I assume it is a steam activation code? I guess you could email it to me? Thanks very much for the offer :)

EDIT: Yeah, I'm not sure there is a PM function which is annoying.

As I said, it's a large time/money sink to re-review something when the only difference is new drivers.

Not saying it doesn't happen or anything like that - it just isn't the 'norm' due to the above mentioned point. This is why user benchmarks are decent tools when we're months into a cards life like we are now with most of AMD's/nVidia's top end cards.

Just checked 3 x reviews of the 660ti and amd cards were all running 12.7 which suggest's they tested all amd cards on this driver. I think a lot of the decent review sites would be mad not to test cards on the latest performance driver as there review is in a way false. You also have to take in to account new games being tested as old drivers may not even run them properly.

I could Email it yes, (added you to my contacts but still no PM) so i don't know how you would give me your Email in private, you don't want to put your Email up here, it will end up getting spammed.

Perhaps a staff member would be so kind as to act as a gopher? i give the Key to him and he passes it on to you?

Yeah, I've just looked and it says that PM is only available for Admins, Dons and Underbosses :(. I suppose the best way would be is if a staff member helps as you suggested, because posting my email address here probably isn't the best idea :)
 
Meh, I went with two GTX 660Ti cards, bit more expensive then I think they're worth but they are very quiet and the boost overclock thing takes the GPU speed to 1200+ without any overclocking at all.
