I have to say, I've never understood the relevance of that. If the video had been hosted by a site other than youtube, everyone would still be commenting on the same video and everything would be exactly the same. If there was an on-going thread on music videos or car videos etc etc then I could see the problem with someone making their own thread rather than using the existing one but to me, youtube has no theme. The different themes of video is almost unlimited and most things we look at using a screen, would be shown in video. To bury this video of a robbery somewhere between a video of a Jimi Hendrix guitar solo, a cat falling out of a window and a screaming sheep (all on the current youtube thread page) just because of the site its hosted on seems pointless.

That isn't having a go at you btw, it's just something I've thought for a while but just chose today to post it.

I think this video is worthy of a thread, it's not just some random video that has been found.

I totally agree with you. It would be shame if stuff like this got lost in that thread.
 
I live 90 seconds away from that shop, this will be the 3rd?? time they have been done over, or at least I knew of two attempts before this one.
There is a newsagents next door where the poor guy has had a gun pulled on him twice now for alcohol/cigarettes

It's not the area as it happens elsewhere as well, it is the attitude of the something for nothing generation

buisness rates and rent are probably cheap as chips so easier to make a profit

i wouldnt think buying a motorbike is the sort of thing you do just walking past so id bet most of the customers are there for the sole reason of buying that brand bike therefore would be there wherever it was
 
Lucky for them I wasn't there. I've been practising Keyboard Fu for 30+ years and I'm well hard.

Bah, little disappointed..... after the dude in white shoved the guy off his moped he should have picked it up, wheeled it into his shop and locked the doors. That would have been freaking awesome.

Even better if the guy was looking in trying to figure out how to get his bike and the guy inside sticks a price tag on the moped :p
