Rapper tweets YOLO (You Only Live Once)... before dying in horror 'drink-drive' crash

So because they're young it's acceptable behaviour?

Every action has a consequence. If they hadn't been drink driving & speeding they wouldn't have died - they deserved everything they got.

No, because young people often do stupid things.

You are a horrible human being, they didnt deserve death, its not even worth arguing with someone like you.

Its like saying soldiers deserve to die, since they are on a battlefied and all.

Or junkies deserve to die since they are shooting heroin.

I don't really understand all the hate. Yes, they were doing something stupid but the guy that posted YOLO (an acronym I'm completely unfamiliar with) possibly wasn't even driving. Why the outpouring of vitriol? Have you fallen for a Daily Mail article again?

Good riddence.

I dont care if he was young. He was old enough to know that drinking, driving and breaking the speed limit is wrong (wether he was the driver or not i don't care )

No, because young people often do stupid things.

No to which part? There's stupid things, and then there's stupid things which put other people's lives at risk. If you're not going to respect your own and other peoples' lives, don't expect them to respect yours.

You are a horrible human being, they didnt deserve death, its not even worth arguing with someone like you.

No one's forcing you to ;)

Its like saying soldiers deserve to die, since they are on a battlefied and all.

Soldiers are generally there either because they're fighting for a good cause, or being forced to be there. They also aren't generally putting innocent's lives at risk just for the hell of it (and the ones that are deserve to die just as much)

Or junkies deserve to die since they are shooting heroin.

As above, junkies shooting heroin aren't putting other innocent people's lives at risk, and again, if you aren't going to respect your own life, don't expect anyone else to.

The account belonged to Ervin McKinness, 21, of Ontario. He was one of the five men killed in the crash about 1:40 a.m. Monday at Creekside Drive and Haven Avenue.

Marquell Bogan, 23, and Dylan George, 20, both of Ontario; Jonathan Watson, 21, of San Bernardino, and JaJuan Bennett, 23, of Rancho Cucamonga also were killed when their a 2005 Nissan Sentra traveling southbound on Haven ran a red light, lost control and slammed into a wall.

I belive they got what they deserved, how would anyone that is defending these people feel if their family was driving on the section of road when they ran the red light and smashed into the car killing your family. Regardless of who was tweeting or even if they were drunk or not, reckless driving will kill not only yourself but also others. I say its good that they didn't cause any further casulties outside of their own stupidity.

Lets just leave it there. You've made your point that you think drink drivers deserve death, i disagree with that. Hopefully you will never have to go through something like that with a member of your family or someone close to you.

I would rather a member of my family killed themselves through drink driving than kill an innocent bystander.

I'd also rather a stranger who thinks drink driving is "cool" kill themselves than live to kill an innocent.

If that makes me a "horrible human being" then it's not something I'm ashamed of. :)

And I hope none of your family ever get knocked down and killed by a drunk driver.

I understand you rationale, but in no way does that mean they DESERVED death.

I would rather they died or the driver died than an inocent bystander, but that doesnt justify the above. Its simple really.

Anyone who uses that phrase deserves to die.

The amount of ***** on my facebook who post things like "GETTING STONED AGAIN TONIGHT YOLO XOXOXOXOXO" is incredible. I hope they all OD on whatever drugs they decide to do.

:D

What a lovely human-being you are

And no of course they didn't deserve to die, locked up for a good few months like any other idiot drink driver yes but death don't be stupid and anyone who suggests so is morally retarded and worse than the idiot drink drivers!!

Maybe a prison sentence, or have thier licences revoked, fined or anything else the law states. Death sentences are pretty harsh :D

To be fair, if they're willing to go at that speed whilst drunk, I don't think having their licences revoked would have stopped them doing it. Prison... maybe, but they would have been out in a few years and back to their old tricks again, potentially killing themselves and innocent bystanders.

Their logic was basically that maximum risk = maximum "living" or fulfilment. That's their choice and as long as they don't kill anyone other than themselves I don't have a problem with it. It's the fact that they started putting innocent people's lives at risk in the process that means that they will get no sympathy from most people, myself included.

Well said!

So you're telling me they didn't deserve what very well they were risking could happen to someone else due to their stupidity?

The saying "Don't shoot if you don't want to be shot" seems to fit this scenario somewhat.

I hope they suffered.
