GFX cards from the USA

Im going to be in the US here in a few months, and i noticed that some of the high end Nvidia cards are several hundred pound cheaper out there to buy,

great example is the 690GTX, UK its 900GBP + US its $990 that is a massive difference in price,

My question is, will it work here, or are these cards made for the US voltages etc, giving that most electronics from the US dont work or require special adapters to work here in the UK, would this card work ok if i got it and brought it back.

They'll work fine here.

Make sure you understand the warranty and return process should something does wrong

And remember when returning you will have to declare the card to customs and pay duty/VAT on it.

Granted it's this week only, but still, they can be had for a lot cheaper than £900. IMO that's not a good example.

Those guys will make you pay around 200f extra for that card srsly.
Just get rid of the box and take card with you on board in personal bag

i took an ipad back from Florida in the box still wrapped up in my backpack on its own and no 1 was even bothered

You will have to pay taxes dependant on what state you are in. I bought my watch out there (Florida) which was $370 but once they added tax, it was $440.
