Good story...

Deus Ex (original), Max Payne 1, Mass Effect, Thief 2, Deus Ex HR to some degrees. Very few recent games where I've been really pulled into the story.

The bolded are superb for story, Palnsecape Torment is the best story in a game bar none,. The script is above all others seen to this day.

I remember first playing it and not knowing how to adjust the gamma/brightness so the game was almost pitch black xD super terrifying!!!

always liked stories when a computer has become or almost self aware and starts making it's own decisions, bit like irobot and wargames xD
