Torn between CPU coolers...

So it's time to retire my old ASUS Silent Knight II Air Cooler it's just not working for the AMD FX 8150 and I'm looking to replace it with a simple CPU Water Cooler.

These are the 2 I'm looking at:

Both have lots of good reviews although the Corsair has a couple of average reviews mostly due to the fans.

The bigger Radiator of the Corsair is also pulling me towards it although I know that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best.

Any opinions on these 2? or maybe another option, although I'm not looking to spend more than £90

Thanks, they do look good for Air Coolers and I did see a review saying the Noctua gave better temps that the Corsair Water Cooler however it isn't listed at AM3+ (or even AM3) compatible?
 
Love my D-14, the K2 is good too and cheaper. I can't stand all in one cpu water coolers. Noisy fans to compensate for how bad they are.

Not sure about tat, maybe go for the phantek or silver arrow? Both give very similar temps

That being said, with good quality fans they can perform very well
 
The NH-D14 along with the other air coolers mentioned are great if your case doesn't have a window or if you're not bothered about obscuring a view of your motherboard/ram. I'm using the Noctua at the moment but plan on swapping it out for a H100 to give a tidier and more open look.

Isn't the problem with the H100 the poor fans that are supplied? Wouldn't a couple of the quiet Corsair static pressure fans help with the noise problem?

Yes, but imo makes them even less performance for what you must invest, D-14 and SB-E come with some amazing fans as stock and cost less anyway! XD I've seen some nice results from H100 with good fans though, but seems backwards to me, to buy a water cooler, then stick loads of air cooling on it to make it work like an air cooler. :D D-14 is amazingly easy to install thanks to the lovely mounting bracket but the fans aren't to everyones taste colour wise.

I've heard about noisy pumps on the h100 but not sure if it's legit. I do like the open look the H100 gives but also like the look of giant heatsinks and can't wait to get my side window.

It would help a lot. If you're doing it for performance or price then you're making a mistake changing the D-14 to a H100, but if it's for looks then fair enough :)

Maybe consider a small custom loop for around the same price? Quieter and more room for expansion

I personally found the pump on the H50 to be a little too loud for my personal requirements. This is easily drowned out by music or HDD or fans though.
