Slip up as in hire some strippers/prostitutes up to my Vegas hotel room and forget to draw the curtains? Or sunbathe topless on the edge of my private villa? :rolleyes:

I'm all for the Royal family and what they bring to the UK, but they can't pretend that they're able to do what any other member of the public can* without attracting attention. That's the downside of being forever rich.

* Not that having sexy Vegas parties and topless sunbathing in private villages would ever be considered a "normal" thing to do.

Right, so if you saw Kate in Sainsbury's whilst you were getting your work lunch you wouldn't even notice/stop/stare/get her autograph/take a photo/whatever? And you would look down on anyone who did any of these things?

I don't care about celebs or celeb culture. I posted the story and gave my opinion on the matter. To pretend that celebrities are or should be treated exactly like normal people, no matter how intellectual you're pretending to be, it's just simply naive and isn't going to be the case, ever.

It never has been the case, it just so happens that news and photos are now much easier to share.

No and yes, in that order. Much the same as I don't go and pester an accountant to do my taxes when I see him on the golf course, I go and see him when he's working.
