Uninstall from Control panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a Program and choose uninstall all AMD, then restart and install 2.8 restart and you should be good to go.

There is really no need to use anything else unless you run into problems, they can needlessly create more problems from time to time resulting in a whole new W7 install.

Don't forget to install the latest caps as well. Important for single and dual card AMD users.

CAPS are for crossfire, says so in the description unless i've missed something.

Hi guys, looking to update my drivers today but being on 12.3 i haven't done it for a while so just wondered what people seem to think is the best way of going about this without running into any issues? Im guessing uninstall via Add remove programs then maybe driver sweeper or Atiman (which i have never used)

Just run them over the top. Never caused me an issue in 6 years.
