hi a friend has asked me to spec him a PC for gaming. his budget is only £330, so i am having a bit of trouble working it out :), hes not looking to max out games or anything like that but he would like to at least play in 720p. on some modern games, if possible. all he needs is a base unit

its just the case, no need for mouses, monitors or keyboards or windows. and yes i know its EXTREMELY tight, thats why im having issues, im great at high end pc like everyone but budget pc are hard

A little over budget, but as you can see i have used a few "B" grade items. You need to check with OCUK as to what accessories are missing with the motherboard. But it is a Z77 mobo, so he could upgrade the Cpu when funds allow.

YOUR BASKET
1 x **B Grade** Sapphire HD 7750 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £71.99
1 x **B Grade** Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £60.00
1 x **B Grade** Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-252-SE) £40.00
1 x Intel Celeron G530 2.40GHz Socket LGA 1155 Processor - Retail £34.99
1 x OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply £32.99
1 x TeamGroup Elite 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED38192M1600HC11DC) £26.99
1 x Xigmatek Helios XTK231 Mini Tower Case - Black £24.98
Total : £304.54 (includes shipping : £10.50).
