EU is badly broken at the moment, team games are impossible to get in game - can't believe this hasn't been resolved since last night
 
Servers are terrible atm.

On a happier note I added renekton to my top lane selection :) very strong early, haven't lost a 1v1 lane with him yet :) falls off a bit late game but he makes a nice meatshield ^^

Yeah i cant get in says 15 min queue so im having to get my NA account out but i havent played on it for ages so that has to update now lol :(
 
Has anyone seen the rankings for this season? Now you get a portrait border whatever your ranking, up to 1149 it's bronze, then silver is 1150-1499, gold is 1500 to 1849 then platinum up to 2199 then a new tier diamond.

I actually think it's a bit silly, considering if you're even w:l in ranked (like I am at the moment), you'll be around 1200, having a bronze portait tells everyone that you ended up with several more losses than wins, it's almost a badge of dishonour.

I was considering trying to get my rank up a bit, but I don't dare in case I get on a losing streak, I'm happy with silver, even though I'm only just in that bracket. I'd have to get a bit over 300 rating to get up to gold so it's just not worth it.
 
They have you covered, your current level is now fixed, if you do better you will get your just reward but if you go down, it won't get any any worse. They did this so people don't stop playing ranked for your reason.
 
On another note, they've done some changes to the tribunal. You now get a feel for how successful your judging has been and also see what punishment the person got

Ah cool, someone said something about rating not dropping any more, but I thought they meant there was no more ELO decay.

I've just read the official thread and the quote is: "Season 2 rewards will be based on the highest rating you achieve between now and the end of the season. Once you’ve achieved a tier, you’ll have it for good, and playing more games can only help you out. In order to do this, we are resetting Top Rating for all players to their Current Rating and will be using Top Rating to determine end-of-season reward tiers."

That's pretty cool, I'll probably do more, though I doubt I'm going to get to 1500. I've decided I can be a decent player if I get to a good start but if I get behind, I snowball downhill hard and rely too heavily on my team to get back into the game.

It'd be nice to get a team together, I'm not in any teams at the mo and apparently there's summoner icons available for the different team sizes as well as solo queue.
 
Okay i got suspended for leaving games.
Im aware of the system to prevent quitters, but on two occasions (and the only two times i 'left' ) I got d/c'd from their servers (internet was fine) and took like 5 mins to log back in -> rejoined game asap.. and still got a ban! Not happy, good job i haven't paid them any cash.
 
Yea, I got a "warning" leaver buster level at 1 or something like that for the same thing. I do DC a fair bit (though it's been better recently) but I always come back, router reset takes 30-60 seconds. Harsh!

Anyways the new refund system looks great :) as for the new champ......Rengar 2.0?

Im sure you could appeal against it. Thats unlucky mate. I've left many games when playing with randoms, **** happens sometimes and you gotta leave.

just appeal and im sure they will unban you? is it a permanant or just temp ban?
 
I got carried in two ranked games last night. Pretty happy about that. My crap, miserable attitude had my typing /surrender about 20 times after the 20 minute mark, but somehow my team came back as won......ugh I feel awful
One game as Soraka and one game as Fiora
 
I know people hate it but I've never clicked yes on a surrender vote. Fighting with your back against the wall is how we learn :)

I forked out and bought Fizz yesterday, 1st game was ok but my team was poor and I was seemingly countered my Heimerdinger who could just zone me out with his turrets when I came into last hit, ended up as 7/7. Second game was epic :) think I ended 19/5 with a load of assists as well, poor twisted fate got eaten by sharky many many times :) I got fed and so did our toplane as mundo vs mundo :)
 
Hehe blind pick can be a blessing or a curse ^^

I like its simplicity :) with better net I'd be in ranked all the time..... *dreams*


Anyone noticing an increase in rage amongst the masses?
 
I've done it a few times before but there was so much trolling from the last picks "MID/CARRY OR AFK" seems to be bound to every key ;p

I should do it more to learn the counters as long as I dont get stuck as the carry/support. Bot lane and me haven't gotten along well yet ^^

I've got a lot of the junglers/top laners and I'm getting more confident in mid with Ziggs and hopefully Fizz :)
