I would hardly say that Cheryl Cole is deporting herself a young society lady. She's had a failed relationship, has a tramp-stamped body, and hasn't shaken off her prole accent one bit. I suppose it depends on what your definition of 'classy' is, but Cheryl Cole hardly comes across as a cultured and refined lady.

Though it's true, HBC is by no means either trashy or chavvy. She's an upper-class bohemian, which is possibly decadent, but not trashy in the slightest. Unless everyone is confusing her character in Fight Club for her actual personality...
 
Well I have to say first of all, Why should she shake off her accent? Tattoos arent tramp stamps, unless thats just the definition of a girl with a tattoo? the royals have had failed relationships and they arent chavs. Well I wouldnt have thought so, but I'm sure someone could find a way to class them as such :p

Fair enough she's not aristocracy. But she's not a chav. She's a woman in show business, who has a level head when it comes to her career. I imagine if she hadnt made it to fame, she'd probably end up further along the chav lifestyle though(not that its certain)

Chavs as far as my understanding of the word. Is essentially someone who gets drunk, abusive, ill mannered, thieving and is a bully. Someone who has no morals and no self respect. Obviously they dont always have to be all of these things, I'm not saying they're always drunk, etc.

Maybe thats an old definition, but I can say the above about most the chavs I knew.

I wouldnt say dressing like a chav makes you a chav btw.
 
A chav is a socially inept, morally questionable individual who has a severe attitude of entitlement from the state and no understanding or care of there impact on the world around them, there are not hot chavvy girls because for you to know if they are chavvy you have to be aware of these flaws and that is enough to turn you off them.
