What level are you? I found that when i did the Shatterer at lvl 48 i didn't get rewarded, i think because i couldn't do enough dmg to the boss, also had trouble targeting it when i did it. Tried it 3 times and still no reward, but when i hit lvl 50 and tried it again i got rewarded, so not really sure what's up with that.

There's a minimum level for each boss. I think anyone under 50 on shatter and maybe 70? On the claw will not get a chest, even if you managed to solo him.

As for bugged skill points I've been checking the one in south malchors leap for a week and nothing. only thing I need to 100% the area.

one question regarding legendary weapons. Do you have to use a certain exotic weapon from the mystic forge with preset stats? Was hoping I could somehow use a vit/con dam/pre one instead of pow/vit/pre that they all seem to have.

does anyone know of a good place to find the missing areas? i have 175/178 for the krytan explorer achievement. i have done all my story quests and jumping puzzles. its really bugging me :(

Most people are still under the impression that the old beta recipes are what is actually in game.

Every legendary needs 250 of each top tier crafting mat (all 8) 250 obsidian shards which is 525k karma, and 100 icy runestones which are sold by a vendor next to claw of Jormag for 1g each.

You then also need gift of battle (500 wvw tokens) gift of exploration (100%) a dungeon gift (500 tokens) plus the beta gifts i.e. metal / darkness, mystic clovers and lodestones.

Obviously the base too.

me too, been playing since head start and still don't know what i'm going to take to 80

i'm thinking a norn necro now for "call wurm" for a minion meat shield (don't know how it works) and using the werewolf elite for quick bleed stacking against bosses etc, but then i have no idea if it's going to work how i want or be worth it but will be fun finding out, and i'm on my 13th character slot now and nothing is above level 23 lol :o

I've gone back to playing Mesmer now, MrPrometheus video guide on how to play Mesmer's are really good explained a lot about the class and why I was failing when I first rolled it. Now I understand the combo's better and just generally better at playing it. By far my fav class, my new Mesmer is a Norn :D loving the massive ice statues

Don't even play this game much but my account is suspended due to 'unauthorized access' and they suspect it was hacked.

How can this happen when I hardly even play the game?

Did you use the same email address you've used for other things? The same password, or just a very easy one to guess? Activity in-game doesn't necessarily correlate with likelihood of being hacked.
 
Can anybody explain how these transmutation stones work, I want to make my level 80 chest/legs look better by making them look like some other items I have in the bank. However whenever I try and use a fine transmutation stone the option to transmute is greyed out. both items i am dropping into the window are level 80 one is rare quality and the other is fine?

The whole transmutation stone system is very clunky and I have yet to actually get it to work yet!

I hadn't used this password for anything else, it was unique to this game. Today was the first day I sold a few things on the trading post, don't know if that's linked.

I have logged into the account on the website and changed password etc plus the security section doesn't show any IP addresses logging in other than mine. Maybe a glitch on ArenaNets part?

I had to have it explained to me, and then I felt very stupid :D

You put two items in, one on each side (have to be the same type of item). then for the top, middle and bottom, you click one side or the other to decide what look, stats and add-on the new item will have. So if you just want the look of a lower level item, you click that item on the top, then the newer item on the next two levels down, and then click transmute.
