Has anyone phoned up to leave Talk Mobile? What are they like? I really need to get round to cancelling my contract, but every time I think about it I can't be bothered with the idea of a long winded call to some idiot in India. When I left Three I spent almost an hour on the phone, and had the call charges to go with it.

Gf left them last week. Requested her PAC code to move over to Giffgaff. They asked some security questions and that was about it. She said she was talking to someone for around 5mins. Had no problem cancelling.

Just don't be soft? There's no way I'd be on the phone for longer than 5 minutes to cancel a contract.
Talkmobile don't have a call centre in India I don't think. The girl I spoke to when I requested my pac code to move to giffgaff had a manc/north west accent.

How would that work? You need them to cancel your contract and give you the PAC code, if they are going to spend an hour talking rubbish before they do this, its gonna take an hour. Hanging up on them doesn't magically make them do it.

Sounds like Talk Mobile shouldn't be to bad though.

I didn't suggest hanging up, but maybe being a bit more abrupt and asking them not to try and convince you to stay as your mind was already made up.

You won't have any problems leaving Talkmobile.

Are you going back to giffgaff?

I did, didnt stop them reading a script to me and ignoring me.

The plan was to go giffgaff, but I might give Virgin a try.
