I tip them if they don't bother me with inane chit-chat. I never tip them.

I don't really understand tipping. I pay a company to provide me with a service, why should I also pay the serviceman for doing what he has just been paid to do?

Usually £1 - £1.50. Hair cuts cost £9 or £10.

I'll tip some taxis £1 too, especially if they're the private ones / smaller agencies.
