pc equivalent of forza?

cars won't be good enough for you yet but I think it will be just like Forza but a bit harder to learn when it is released. Assetto Corsa is a total unknown in terms of gameplay and structure right now so count that out until we know more.

Owch not a good recommendation there. There is very little to do in ACR compared to the huge world of Forza and cars still hit each other when not touching and make weird clanging noises and start races upside down. The site takes literally minutes to load any page and the browser plugin crashes loads. 75% of all races started tend to disconnect or go wrong. Not to mention the game is 99.9% played by German only speaking elitists. If anyone wants a game so bugged and awful dispite 1 year in beta currently charging real money for cars so that you can make a 'lol worst game of all time' youtube compilation of all the comedy muckups and foibles in the game then give it a go!

I know you said you don't like NFS games, and that makes sense for most of them as they aren't realistic, but frankly, Shift shouldn't even bear the NFS name, it's a completely different game, and much closer to RL...
