Don't know much about the f22, but a good friend of mine has been to have a look at them and commented that the kit they carry is "very gucci".

No need to actually invent all that technology, just *say* you invented, never show it because it is classified and never use it because the cost makes it prohibitive.

Pretty sure in tests it was the superior fighter but not by much, the Typhoon was very close

just read an article 5 mins ago saying that the f22 would have you if you got within 20 miles of it as it has beyond visual range capabilities that the Typhoon doesnt

However in a straight close up dogfight they are pretty equally matched

L0L ahhh truth!

I was under the impression that what set the F22 apart was its tech, rather than its dogfight capabilities, which are still impressive.
